1. These aluminum blocks are designed for maximum high temperature performance. Made from a special high temperature copper alloy with a softening point above 500°C (compared to aluminum blocks that begin to lose integrity above 350°C), the thermal conductivity of these copper blocks is greatly increased. Ideal for high temperature use while working perfectly with everyday fibers such as PLA, ABS and spool edges.
2. In addition to high temperature performance, these aluminum blocks also feature advanced nickel-based electroplating. This plating greatly reduces the adhesion of the plastic to the glass. This is great for everyday filaments to keep clean and shiny, but at temperatures above 300°C it's important that the silicon carbide sticks cannot be used.
